Trio arrested in recent Jennings Co. arsons, burglaries

arrest NORTH VERNON, Ind. – Three suspects were arrested by Jennings County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Friday in connection with a rash of recently reported arson activity. Circuit Court Judge Jon Webster had issued a search warrant on a Jennings County home based on sheriff’s office detective Aaron Green’s affidavit related to a number of arson and burglary cases. When deputies arrived at the Montgomery Township residence, two of the suspects, Taylor S. Corya, 18, and Tristan MacDonald, 18, were found and taken into custody. A third suspect, a 17-year-old male, was arrested shortly afterward at a nearby location. At this time, the sheriff’s office believes all of the individuals responsible for the recent rash of fires in the Paris Crossing/Montgomery Township area have been arrested.
