Meet Your Makers COLUMBUS, Ind. – Anyone can be a maker. Even you. Discover how on March 2.
Play with a robot. Test your welding skills. Print a map with a laser cutter. Meet artists and designers face-to-face. Record a story. Make a magic wand.
Meet Your Makers is a celebration of making for all ages. It’s a free, interactive event, allowing guests to visit up to ten local spaces where imagination becomes reality. The community-wide open house runs from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on March 2nd. If you are over 21, there’s also a reception at The Garage, located at 308 4th Street, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The hosting organizations include Foundation for Youth, J. Irwin Miller Architecture Program, Bartholomew County Public Library, and so much more!
The event is free, but participants are encouraged to register and to download a detailed keepsake map describing all of the day’s special events, activities, and locations. Visit www.columbusareachamber.com for more details!
