COLUMBUS, Ind. –
Flu season in south-central Indiana may have reached its peak and the worst of the season in the Columbus area may already be behind us, according to local health officials.
Columbus Regional Health reported a decrease in positive cases of the flu from December to January. The number of influenza cases fell from 6.4 percent to 4.6 percent.
