COLUMBUS, Ind. – An incident in a local convenience store last week ended with multiple charges for a Bartholomew County woman. Bartholomew County Deputies were called to the Circle K at the intersection of U.S. 31 and County Road 650N in Taylorsville because of a 911 hangup. When law enforcement arrived, employees said a woman, later identified as Catina Caudill, 28, of Georgetown Road in Columbus, had refused to leave the store when asked to do so. Deputies say that when Caudill saw them, she tried to hide behind the counter. The suspect allegedly struggled with officers as she was taken into custody. Caudill was charged with criminal trespass, resisting law enforcement, battery on a public official, and disorderly conduct.
