COLUMBUS, Ind. – Banjo-up, Bartholomew County. The Columbus Bluegrass Jamboree is coming on Saturday, March 16. The free event is open to the public and is being held at Donner Center, 22nd and Sycamore Streets, in Columbus. Bring your instrument for the Open Jam at 4 p.m., and then various groups perform starting at 5 p.m. The Jamboree, in memory of Joe Wright, will feature various bands including Randy King and Hoosier Hills, Dan Branaman and Eagle Ridge, Judy Sampson, Midwest Station, and others. Donations are welcome and concessions will be available for purchase. The Bluegrass Jamboree is sponsored by Columbus Parks and Recreation and Lincoln-Central Neighborhood Family Center.
