Indiana sees hike in gas prices

INDIANA – Gas prices are on the rise across Indiana. There are several factors at play right now but most of the market forces moving gas prices higher are seasonal. “Prices are up now, about 50 cents a gallon in the last couple months, and that’s why gas stations have continued to raise prices. A lot of this is happening due to oil prices being at $58 a barrel, the highest in months, refineries continuing maintenance and the transition to cleaner, more expensive gasoline.” According to AAA, drivers in Bartholomew County are paying around $2.44 per gallon.
